The toolkit

Look up anything on the network

Type a domain or IP and get an answer straight away. Everything runs on the server, so it works even on locked-down browsers.

Domain to IP

Resolve a hostname into its IPv4 (A) and IPv6 (AAAA) addresses.

IP to domain

Reverse DNS — find the hostname (PTR record) published for an IP.

DNS records lookup

Full record set — A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME and SOA for any domain.

IP geolocation

Country, city, ISP and network (ASN) for an IP or domain. Leave blank for yours.

Open port checker

Test whether service ports accept connections on a host — scan the common ports from our server, check a custom list, or get ready-to-run commands for your own device.

Checks 12 well-known ports. A closed port only means it isn't reachable from this server — not that the host is down.

Bandwidth

Internet speed test

Measure your ping, jitter, download and upload speed straight from your browser against Cloudflare's global edge — the same as any device speed test. Nothing runs through our servers.

Uses parallel connections for accuracy — a fast link can move several hundred MB per run. Best on Wi‑Fi or wired.

Questions

Good to know

The common questions about IP and DNS lookups.

How do I find my public IP address?

It's shown at the top of this page automatically, detected from your connection. Tap the copy button to grab it. If you're on a VPN, you'll see the VPN's address instead of your home one.

What's the difference between domain to IP and reverse DNS?

Domain to IP resolves a name like example.com into its numeric addresses. Reverse DNS (IP to domain) goes the other way, reading the PTR record to find a hostname for an IP — but many IPs have no PTR record, so a blank result is normal.

Why does a domain return more than one IP?

Large sites spread traffic across several servers and often publish both IPv4 (A) and IPv6 (AAAA) records, so the lookup returns every address the domain currently points to.

Is the geolocation exact?

No. IP geolocation places you near your ISP's routing location — usually the right country and city region, but not a street address. Treat it as approximate.
