About QR scan tracking
How do I look up my QR code?
Paste the destination link you originally entered in the generator. You can also paste the full tracking address, or just the short code at the end of it, and the lookup will match on that instead.
Why is my scan count higher than the number of people?
Every scan is counted, including repeat scans by the same person and previews generated by some messaging apps. Treat the number as scan events rather than unique visitors.
How accurate is the location?
Location is derived from the network address of the scanning device, so it is usually correct to the city. Mobile networks and VPNs can place a scan in a different city, and no GPS or personal data is collected.
What is the difference between resetting and deleting?
Resetting clears the scan history and sets the count back to zero while the code keeps working — useful when you reprint for a new campaign. Deleting removes the code entirely, and every printed copy of it stops resolving.
Do text and WiFi codes appear here?
No. Those codes carry their data inside the image and never contact the server, so there is nothing to count. Only link codes are trackable.
Do the statistics ever expire?
No. Scan history is kept until you reset or delete the code yourself. There is no retention window and no paid tier that unlocks older data.
